A special election is being held on Tuesday, September 19th to fill the seat in the 21st district vacated earlier this summer by Sara Innamorato.

Since last year's redistricting, Morningside is now split down the middle, with half of the neighborhood falling into the 21st district and half in the 24th. The lines are confusing, so if you're not sure which one you are in, use this state Find Your Legislator tool.

If you are registered to vote and you live in the 21st, you are eligible to vote in Tuesday's election. This is not a primary.
