The Highland Park Community Council (HPCC) will have two presentations on timely projects at the next meeting:

DOMI will share a brief presentation on the paving / calming project planned for Reservoir Drive. Please come with questions, like how does the plan fit with the desire of park users & community members to reduce the width of the road and make Reservoir Drive safer and more attractive for pedestrians and cyclists? Will accessibility be affected?
The Zoo is proposing a renovation to its ticket area. Take a look at the proposal documents now posted on our website, and come with your questions, like how does this project fit with the community's desire to restore Heth's Run and get access to the riverfront through the park? How does it fit with future plans for parking? This meeting will be the required Development Activities Meeting prior to the proposal being heard by the Civic Design Commission, to which the HPCC will be providing a summary of the community feedback and concerns heard at this meeting.
