After the holiday season wraps up, local Girl Scouts step in to give Christmas trees a second life!
Girl Scout troops in the City of Pittsburgh will pick up your live Christmas tree to be dropped off at one of the City of Pittsburgh’s Christmas Tree drop off locations for the neighborhoods noted in the map. Trees will be mulched and not end up in the landfill and will be available for city residents for free in the spring.
Troop 52498 will pick up trees in Highland Park, East Liberty, Morningside, and Larimer on Sunday, January 11.
