Pittsburgh’s 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report

On Friday, May 1, City Controller Rachael Heisler’s office released the 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.  This report tells the story of the city’s financial activities for 2025.  The general fund spent $44 million more than it brought in.  Revenues and expenses were stable.  The big take away is the federal COVID relief dollars masked the core financial issue facing the city: spending is outpacing revenue.

Rachael Heisler will discuss the report at the next MACC meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 7:00 p.m. at the Morningside Healthy Active Living Center.
