Morningside Neighbor Takes Second Place at Chili Cook Off

Congratulations to our Morningside neighbor Sheila Skrinjar for her impressive second-place win at the Sharpsburg Chili Cook-off. Her Big Daddy Chili features local ingredients like Iron City beer and meats from Frankie’s Sausage in Sharpsburg.

Sheila’s actually a two-time winner, taking home first place in 2024. She was offered a seat at the judges’ table, but declined, stating she wanted to compete again.
