MACC Announces New Officers

The Morningside Area Community Council (MACC) is pleased to announce the election of new officers, who were voted in at the Council’s meeting on February 4.

Alex Wreschnig has been elected President of MACC. Alex brings a strong commitment to community engagement and neighborhood advocacy and looks forward to working with residents, partners, and city leaders to support a vibrant and connected Morningside. Alex served as MACC Secretary in 2025.

Meg Lawniczak has been elected Secretary. In this role, Meg will support the work of the Council by maintaining records, membership, and documentation that help ensure transparency and continuity in MACC’s efforts.

MACC extends its thanks to all members who participated in the February 4 meeting and to outgoing president, Mark Silvester, for his dedicated service. MACC looks forward to the leadership and collaboration Alex and Meg will bring as the organization continues its work on behalf of the Morningside community.
